Pricing (draft)

What it'll cost.

These are the prices we're planning. Final numbers land with the launch announcement and won't change after you've paid.

Team entry

-

Ladder format. Players enter individually or in pairs. No team fee. Includes 8 weeks of scheduled matches + season-end tournament.

Solo / free agent

~$120/season

No team? Sign up solo and we'll match you to a free-agent roster or place you on a short-handed team.

Draft pricing reflects the league's actual operating cost (gym rental, officials, equipment, league admin). Subject to finalization based on venue contracts.

The plan

How we're getting this off the ground.

  1. Step 1

    Validate demand

Collect interest signups. We need ~6 committed teams to make the math work.

  2. Step 2

    Lock the venue

Sign a gym contract for the season. Game day and times are confirmed before registration opens.

  3. Step 3

    Open registration

Launch list goes first. Captain pays the team fee. Roster builds out from there.

  4. Step 4

    First shuttle

Ladder goes live. Matches scheduled weekly, same brand and same playbook as the soccer league.

Launch list

Be first when we tip off.

No spam, no drip campaign. One email when registration opens. That's it.

FAQ

Quick answers.

When does badminton actually launch?

As soon as we lock indoor court time for the season and have ~16 committed players. The launch list gets first notice the day registration opens.

How much will it cost?

Draft pricing is ~$120/season per entry (singles or one half of a doubles team). Final number is confirmed when the court contract is signed. We won't change it after you've paid.

Can I sign up solo without a team?

Yes. Mark "I'd play solo" on the launch list and we'll either build a free-agent team or place you on a roster that needs depth.

Where will games be played?

Indoor courts in Burlington. We announce the exact venue the day the contract is signed, not before. See all current venues.

Will there be competitive and rec divisions?

Yes, we plan to split into Competitive and Recreational tiers as soon as we have enough teams to make each division work (usually 4+ teams per tier).

From the team behind

Burlington's adult soccer league.

Premier Athletics already runs a full soccer season. Real refs, real stats, paid weekly. Same playbook for basketball.
